i wanted to find out if anyone else got their hands on a copy of demons souls. the game is quite difficult in the end but curiousity seems to defeat frustration, as usual in KF games.
i had a red gem meant to be given to ed the blacksmith, so that i could upgrade the moonlight sword that i found hidden in the terrible marshes. but while trying to figure out which button would let me hand it to him, i accidentally hit the "cash it in for souls/money" button. am i screwed for life? start over? or is there some other way to convince this blacksmith ed to become available to upgrade special weapons? the gem seems irreplacable, seeing as its a reward for the firey terror dog (ghostbusters ref) like boss creature that i defeated in the same area. hopefully im not the only one here exploring this game
