Are 'The Palace of Wind' and 'The Garrison Barracks' supposed to be the same?

No, those two tracks should not be the same. I never noticed that. I'll fix it within' the next few days.

Well, I went to fix the incorrect tracks and I can't seem to find the separate tracks. Both my copies on my PC and mp3 player are the same songs as well. So, somewhere along the line they must have gotten messed up. So it may take longer to fix than I originally had thought.

That's alright. I don't mean to make you compelled to do a bunch of work, but I think the track that plays in the Ancient Battleground is missing too.

I started playing KF 2 again and I discovered that the barracks and palace of wind do have the same music.

I noticed the "cave" music from TAC and David Bunch's shop music are missing. If anyone knows where to find them please post them.

Hmmm, I was pretty sure I went through The Ancient City very thoroughly and had all the music from each area.

I have the 2 MP3s from the special music disk of Kings Field IV. The song damp tomb is the same as the ancient city level 2 only it sounds a bit odd. Almost technoish and the harpsichord sounds more like a guitar almost. Very catchy IMO and I wish the MP3 was not just 1 min 38 seconds long.

Thankyou for putting these songs on the web. I can not find them anywhere else.
Could you get the song from the Temple maze of Orladin in KF2. Thankyou |

Yeah, the palace of wind and the barracks had the same music in the game.
I found a few more missing songs though while playing. The battle field area music(The place in-between Quist and the barracks), and Orladin's maze music. I think the Shodum's cave music might be missing too. I think it's called shodum's cave...its the place across the lava in Ralugo. |

Sooo... | ||

I know you've been thanked a lot but thank you so much for uploading so many tracks from our beloved series. But...
It seems like... *The Old Battlefield *Shudoms Cave (inner cave where the dead giant is "resting" and outer cave where all of the clay golems are lurking.) *The maze temple of Orladin (and the room where orladin's skeleton is) *The path of poison Didn't make your list yet. I'm quite anxious to get my hands on all the tracks, excuse me if I sound the slightest bit impatient. I fully understand you are busy with your own life... just curious to know when your next upload will be. |

The Path of Poison and The Old Battlefield are both on the list to download. Unless those are incorrectly listed...

Would it be too difficult to create longer mixes? | ||
|
I really don't know what's involved with pulling these off the CDs, but is it possible to get longer tracks?
I've been loving using KF music as the soundtrack for other games, but it would be awesome if they were longer. Thanks for these, by the way, if I haven't already thanked you. |

RE: | ||

I kept all the tracks around 3 minutes simply because I assumed if anyone wanted to hear them more they'd simply put a track on repeat. That is why they are not longer. Since most of the songs consist of about a minute worth of music and then it's looped, I didn't think it made much sense to make the tracks super long when they could just be repeated.
Having said that, since all the tracks are basically a minute of music looped, you could simply get an MP3 editing program and loop the selected song several times if putting a track on repeat doesn't work for what you'd like. |

Certainly I understand why you chose the lengths you did, and putting them on repeat works all right, but the fading in and out is a little distracting.
I'll probably end up looping them myself if I can find the time (man having a child has put a serious crimp in my gaming!). I'm guessing there are freeware editing programs out there (I have an older one that will do .wav files, but not mp3). I did a quick search and found a few, can anyone recommend a good one? |

Re: | ||

The tracks which you still list as unattributed are from (I'm sure) :
KFJAP: Opening Movie KFUS: Cathedral Colosseum Guyra KF2US: Seath Prologue Here is the complete music for the PS1 KF games (except for music that plays during movies) in MIDI format. The KF games use a MIDI-like format for their music but they have their own internal sound font so these MIDIs will sound a bit different than the game music depending on what player you play them on. I labeled the tracks mentioned above. It might help you track down (no pun intended |
