Just curious to any funny, or unique stories related to the King's Field series. Here's mine.
When I was in early highschool, my friend and I would play KF1 and 2, hours on end with Outkast's Aquemeni cd playing on repeat. To this day I can recite word for word that entire album, and never can I hear one of those songs and not think of KF. During that same time we would order Domino's cheese pizzas with extra oregano, and Cherry Coke. I am convinced they kept us alive every hour of our quests.
We used to make the maps (both of us artists) and detailed weapon/items/armor lists, and monster list (we didn't own walkthroughs). One time we wrote the company years after KF2 (American) and demanded that they make another, and to send us a free walkthrough guide. They did eventually make TAC, but we never were sent the walkthrough guide. Bastards.
