Yeah I think that i'm a match for Raniok and Ely 1v2, considering my win ration there. Ely, you need to be more agressive. You have powerful weapons, but all you do is run away lol. Raniok is doing good, he just needs to optimize his designs. Oh well, maybe the next time I play both of you I won't win so often.

I've been playing since AC1, and adjsuting to the new control type is impossible for me. I tried, I just can't. I can't switch after playing the game the same way for 11 years.
I may get a PS3 just so I can use a variation of the old controls. other than analog movement, the only changes would be the addition of quick boost (triangle would work), switching weapons (right stick would work), and centering view (if I cant do a button combo, I'd just make it L3). That is the only way I can see myself playing this game. |

You can change the controls any way you want if you buy the game. It's not locked. I didn't think I could do it but I melded right into the control scheme. Give it a chance with the game, you'll get it. If you're a gamer, you can adapt to any control scheme. Just give it time man.
Also, I have something to share with you ladies. PA Rectification refers to the PA's recharge. The higher the value the faster it recharges. This is best represented by the four core parts: Head, Core, Arms and Legs. In the FRS Tune menu you should put whatever points you have allocated yourself into the Core PA Rectification value first! The reason for this is that it gives you the greatest bang for your buck, so to speak. The next is the Legs, then the Arms and finally the Head. Generally, you should put everything you have into your Core's rectification and whatever is left over ino the leg's. The reason for this is that your PA's Rectification as a whole is the sum of all the part's values. So it stands to be adding the most FRS memory to your core, as it has the best value increase. All of you should seriously consider this if you want your PA back after a good shot with a cannon. I'll add more tidbits of info when I become aware of them. See you on the battlefield, Ravens. |

I believe I have finally made something.. A few AC's
A new Blader (that could really be powerful). I went Lightweight (gave up on stupdi Mid weights) And my Heavy can now one hit Anything. We have to spar again tonight elysion. I still can't get missiles to work, but I decided to join the cookie cutter builds after staring at the top 10 AC's. Pride will only get me killed haha. |

Valk - btw here, use these controls. They worked wonders for me.
Custom Type A Lock On - Y Button Overboost - Left Stick Click Just keep throwing yourself into it and it'll become second nature. |

I keep my pride and I still win. It's finding the schematic that plays off your abilities.

I can't right now, much as I'd like to... >_< And even if I could, I don't even have anything as far as an AC that I could use online. I've only played the first couple missions so far. >_>

Hopefully it'll happen in the near future. (and hopefully I can get the hang of things) Playing AC online with you guys was half the reason I paid for the Xbox Live account... >_<
I'm getting left behind... >_> |

Well, I have S ranked every single hard mode mission, which means that now I have the uber maximum FRS pointage of 337. Now I just have to S rank every single one on normal, which should be easy in comparison to get the last achievement. After that, i've completely beat the crap out of this game.
S ranked all normal and hard mode missions, have every single achievement in the game. |

Bipeds can shoot back weapons including grenade launchers or anything standing up or flying. If you come to a complete stop while you use a backweapon with a biped the biped will actualy kneel down to increase accuracy.
The control scheme I use is the same as default, only I switched the bumpers to fire and X and A to change weapons. |

If you get a XBOX 360, with Armored Core 4. It'll be much cheaper, and your mother will be less angry to convince.
You'll also get much more entertainment out of it almost immediately compared to the PS3. I personally believe game systems aren't invenstment, but rather you buy what you can use immediately. Unless there are First party games from Sony that you completely need. The Xbox 360 will be everything for you - <3. *misses the SEGA Dreamcast* |
